Nu: Tech series 015, «Hard Boiled», is a 100% vinyl-mixed techno set for 404Error. His approach sums it up in four words: raw, hard, aggressive and equally hypnotic.
It's Nu: Tech's most forceful delivery. Front sets slow and deep as 014 · Anecoic, here the tempo rises and the percussion commands, but the idea of the whole series is maintained: repetition, long mixtures and layers that change little by little, without drops. It is a good reference for promoters who are looking for someone who can carry the central time of a tougher techno night without losing the hypnotic side.
Like the rest of the series, it is recorded in a single shot with two Technics and a Formula Sound table, without editing. If you're interested in the contrast between styles, read deep, hypnotic, dub and hard techno: how they differ.
