Claudio PRC is one of the names that best explain what the deep Italian technique of the last twenty years is. And Delsin Records, the label from Amsterdam that has published its last two albums, is one of the houses that have best been able to edit it. This article reviews what is concrete in both dates, disks, stamps and catalogue, without filling adjectives.
Who is Claudio PRC
Claudio PRC was born in Sardinia in 1987 and resides in Berlin. He appeared in the Italian scene of deep techno in 2006 and since then has built a very coherent race: long catalog, content temps and a clear preference for the complete disk against the single.
He has academic training in Music and New Technologies, and that can be seen: his work drinks both from the Detroit techno tradition and from the electroacoustics. It's not a marketing label, it's an audible difference in how it treats textures and stereo space.
According to their profile in Discos, accumulates around 49 own launches, of which about 9 are albums and 31 singles and EPs, in addition to over a hundred appearances in compilatories and production credits.

Self Surrender came out in May 2025 in vinyl, limited and digital edition, with nine cuts: Prelude, Kāla, Cenere, Covered In Sin, Sigillo, Subversive, Manifestazione, Ebony Feathers and The Suspended Child. It is a disc that starts in ambient and dub territory, passes through dark and minimal rhythms, and in its second half it opens to a stronger and acid techno. Partnerships and other projects
He's worked with Luigi Tozzi and Blazej MalinowskiTwo names from the same circuit. It is part of the collective Bassation in Cagliari, runs the radio program Deedepartment and exploratory cutting, and 2023 is resident in Tresorin Berlin.
This residence matters more than it seems: Tresor program sets long, and the PRC format needs time. In 60 minutes his music is nowhere; in three hours it makes sense.
Delsin Records: 30 years of catalog
Delsin founded it. Marsel van der Wielen in Amsterdam in 1996, under the alias Peel Seamus. The first reference to label Delsin 001, it wasn't a vinyl: it was a 10-track cassette entitled Publik Draft, edited by Marsel himself. It literally started as a label bedroom in the IJplein district.
Since then it has published more than 350 references from more than 100 artists. The label the 30th anniversary on September 18, 2026 in ParadisoAmsterdam.
Catalogue artists
Delsin has passed Conforce, Delta Funktionen, Rolando, John Beltran, Shed, Sven Weisemann, Low Jack, Vril, Herva and Gunnar Haslamamong many others. It is a deliberately wide catalogue: it is not a label deep techno monotematic, but one that crosses techno from Detroit, electro, ambient and deep house.
Sub- stamps and series
- Ann Aimee — started in 2003 oriented to more abstract electronics, and was relaunched in 2008 with a darker techno approach.
- X-DSR — series dedicated to reeditions of classics.
Why Delsin has lasted
Martel has explained his model compared to that of a book publishing: maintain a comprehensive catalogue and finance the experimental launches with which they operate commercially. It rejects the inflated DJ cache and prioritizes artistic freedom over immediate return.
It is a much less romantic explanation than the usual one, and that is probably why it is true: 30 years and 350 references are not supported with inspiration, they are supported with an economic model that holds.
What do you have in common artist and label
The two work with the same assumption: that the minimum unit is not track, but disk and session. PRC publishes albums that are heard whole; Delsin edits catalogues that go back forward. Neither is optimized for the algorithm of a platform.
If you're going in here, the practical order is simple: listen. Inner State and Self Surrender complete before loose tracks, and then go through the Delsin catalog starting with Conforce and Delta Funktionen. In this record, the complete EP says more than the isolated track.
